Master Bread Dough

Master Bread Dough Yield 1 Quart

3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1½ tsp salt
2 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs whole milk powder

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a quart jar. Optional: Vacuum seal.

A single quart jar of mix contains enough dry ingredients for one 2-pound loaf of bread. Prepare additional jars based on how many loaves you want to make in advance.

Tip: Where’s the yeast?  Salt can inhibit yeast, and sugar is known to feed it, so it’s best to keep them separate until you’re ready to bake. If you like, you can add 2 tsp instant yeast to a baggie and store the baggie inside the jar.

Sandwich Loaf   Yield: 2 loves

1 ¼ cups warm water
1 ½ Tbs oil of choice
1 jar master bread dough mix
2 tsp instant yeast

Directions:

1.Add ingredients to a bread machine in the order given (or in a mixing bowl if kneading by hand).

2.Following your bread machine’s user manual, select the appropriate cycle to bake bread. If baking manually, bake for 30 minutes at 375°F(or until a toothpick comes out clean).
