Italian Dressing mix

While we use this to make salad dressing, it can be used as a seasoning format too. It’s great on a Crock-Pot roast! It’s also wonderful for quick meatballs—just mix 2 Tbs with 1-lb ground beef, roll into balls, and bake.
Yield: 1 pint
Ingredients:
½ cup onion powder
¼ cup dried parsley
¼ cup dried oregano
¼ cup dried, minced onion
¼ cup dried basil
¼ cup salt
2 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs garlic powder
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp ground celery seed
½ tsp ground thyme

Place all ingredients into a pint jar. Optional: Vacuum seal.

To Make Italian Dressing (makes 1 half pint)
2 Tbs dry Italian dressing mix
¼ cup white vinegar
½ cup avocado oil (or oil of choice)
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Whisk all ingredients together. Store in the refrigerator, and enjoy within two weeks.
