Sausage Mix
Yield: 1 pint
Ingredients:
1/2 cup salt
A scant 1/2 cup pepper
1/2 cup dried sage (rubbed)
1/2 cup dried basil
1/4 cup onion powder
2 Tbs marjoram
Directions
Use about 1 Tablespoon per pound of meat anytime you want more of a sausage-y flavor.
1. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and transfer to a pint jar.
Optional: Vacuum seal.
To Make the Sausage
Yield: 7-8 Patties
Turkey Sausage
1 lb ground turkey
1 Tbs sausage seasoning
1.Mix the two ingredients together until well combined.
2.Form patties, and fry them in a skillet until no longer pink in the center.
