Prepsteaders How to Make Ghee (Clarified Butter)

Heavy bottom pan

Med. High heat

1lb unsalted butter

Simmer boil about 8 minutes stirring every once in a while.

As milk solids start to stick to bottom, stir for another  6-8 minutes but don’t stirrup the bottom.

Ghee will become more clear and you can tilt the pan to see browning milk solids that are attached at the bottom.

Strain and pour into jars

Let cool down before sealing
